Teaching Practice
We are a teaching practice which means we can help train medical students, student nurses and GPs in the final year of their higher professional training (Registrars) . You may be offered appointments with a student , or asked if you would mind your consultation being videoed for training purposes. Your co-operation with this is greatly appreciated.
Dr Bartlett also teaches at the hospital on a Thursday morning and works as an assessor for the Royal College of GPs so frequently has his surgeries covered by a locum during these absences.
Registrar
As part of our role as a teaching practice we usually have a doctor at the end of their training (Registrar) who will be working in the practice for a year. He or she will have normal surgeries at the same times as the regular doctors and will be available for consultations in the same way.
